A home that feels like yours.
Support that helps you thrive.
Ability DN provides Supported Independent Living for people who need regular help at home. We work alongside each participant to create safe, respectful and person-centred support shaped around their routines, goals, preferences and level of independence.
What is Supported Independent Living?
Supported Independent Living, often called SIL, is support provided in a participant's home for people with higher support needs who require help throughout the day and, when needed, overnight.
A participant may live alone or share their home with other people. Support arrangements depend on the participant's assessed needs, NDIS plan, goals and preferred living situation.
SIL relates to the support a person receives at home. It does not pay for rent, groceries, utilities or other ordinary household costs.
