Who can access and participate in Ability DN Programs?

Our programs are available to NDIS participants with an approved NDIS plan.

We support individuals with various types of disabilities and offer a diverse range of program activities to help meet individual participant needs and goals.

The following funding categories in your NDIS plan may be used to access program services:

What considerations does Ability DN take into account when planning programs?

Ability DN programs are designed to be fun and engaging while still aligning with common NDIS goals.

When attending a program with Ability DN, participants also have the opportunity to work toward their NDIS goals in a supportive environment with assistance from qualified support workers.

What age range of children can attend your school holiday programs?

We offer our programs to school-aged children between 5 and 17 years old.

Our programs are designed to cater for a range of ages and ability levels while remaining aligned with NDIS goals.

Are your programs just for children?

No. We will also be running regular Adult Social Programs. Learn more about Adult Programs.

What is the cancellation policy for programs?
  • Program shifts cancelled within 72 hours of the scheduled program date will incur a full-day charge as the cancellation fee.
  • Program shifts cancelled more than 72 hours in advance but less than 7 days in advance will be charged the pre-purchased program ticket cost.
  • Program shifts cancelled more than 7 days in advance will not incur a cancellation fee.
Does Ability DN provide meals for participants on program days?

Unless specified in the program schedule, Ability DN does not provide meals for participants.

If lunch is forgotten, Ability DN can provide a predetermined lunch option, such as a sandwich, apple, small bag of popcorn and small bag of rice crackers. All items will be checked against the participant's recorded allergies.

An additional charge of $30 applies for each meal provided by Ability DN.

Does Ability DN provide transportation to and from program locations?

Yes. Ability DN can provide transportation. All transport will be charged in accordance with the applicable NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
